Local licensed electrician for Cliffs at Keowee Vineyards, Falls, Springs, and The Reserve. Generator installs, EV charging, smart home rewiring, dock electrical. ARB-familiar, clean-site protocol.
You’ve got 4,000 to 8,000 square feet, smart home automation throughout, subpanels feeding pool pumps and landscape lighting, whole-home standby generators, Tesla Powerwall or Generac PWRcell installs, Level 2 EV charging in the garage, and on the lake properties — boat lifts, dock lighting, and shore power. This is a specialty.

Many of the original Keowee Vineyards and Keowee Falls homes were built in the early 2000s on 150A or 200A service. That was fine for a 5,000 sq ft house with two HVAC zones and a pool. It’s not fine now — not when you add a Tesla Wall Connector (11.5 kW), a Generac 24 kW standby, a Powerwall with solar backup, and an updated kitchen with induction and a double oven.
Before you add more load, we do a full calculation. If the service needs to go from 200A to 400A, we coordinate Duke Energy, swap the meter base, pull the permit, and walk inspection. Most service upgrades on a Cliffs home take 2–3 days of active work with a 4–6 hour power-off window.
Yes — Vineyards, Falls, Springs, and The Reserve at Lake Keowee. For Walnut Cove on the North Carolina side we take projects case-by-case depending on the scope.
Most routine work — receptacle adds, panel subs, generator swaps — needs an ARB notification rather than a full submittal. For service capacity changes, meter relocations, or new dock electrical, we pre-draft the plan and coordinate the submittal with your property manager or the ARB directly.
Yes. We size, install, and warranty Generac air-cooled (14 kW–26 kW) and liquid-cooled (22 kW–48 kW) generators. We handle the propane or natural gas connection coordination, transfer switch install, permit, and inspection. We also install Cummins when that’s the preference.
Yes. For households with two or three EVs we install load-managed systems — Wallbox Quasar, ChargePoint Power Plus, or Tesla’s multi-charger wire-through. This lets you charge multiple vehicles without a service upgrade in most cases.
Same-day for Cliffs members when a truck is already in the area. Standard is next-day. Call (864) 436-8680 — we’ll be straight about our availability.

Joe did a great job! Love my new EV chargerPosted on HiTower Capital ManagementTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Joe is extremely responsive and timely and does high quality work. He installed an EV charger that required opening the wall up to run conduit. He also patched and painted the wall once done and made it look like the charger has always been there.
